Custom Cabinetry & Kitchens: Where To Start?

Planning your Kitchen/Cabinet -

Most clients have a very good idea of how they would like their kitchen/Cabinet set out.

• In this case a rough sketch with estimated sizes, is a very good start to establishing your Kitchen/Cabinet plan.
• If you have a reasonable idea of what you would like in a kitchen, but would like some Input we can help you establish a design suited to your needs and budget.
• If you have a complicated or difficult area to design your kitchen/Cabinet or would like professional help, than an interior designer might be the best starting place

Choosing Materials Etc

Materials will be highly dependent on your budget and taste, (useful links for hardware, colours etc)

Lower budget cabinetry will typically have:

• Laminate Benchtops
• Colour melamine doors (usually referred to as laminate)
• Limited Drawers

Higher budget cabinetry will typically have:

• Stone Benchtops
• Two Pack or Solid Timber Panel Doors Etc
• Mostly Drawers
• Soft close drawer runners

Pricing

• Once your plans, materials and hardware are selected we can work out a Fixed quote for
  You
• Some materials have different price ranges e.g. stone tops can have 4 price ranges
• In this case if the colour isn`t confirmed we will quote the standard price and vary the price after the colour has been chosen

Go Ahead

• Once the go ahead has been given we will draw up a minor works contract where the estimated start and finish date will be confirmed and deposit paid.

Completion

• Your completed project will be finished to the very best of our efforts by the set date on the
  contract
